Triple Crown Winners on Tely Tour West Coast Swing

Deer Lake, NL….The third stop on the Tely Tour Wast Coast Swing took place at Deer Lake as the Humber River Junior Invitational on Thursday July 26th under humid conditions with a humidex of 35. Despite the hot weather, the winners of the previous two competitions held on the west coast retained their crowns in each division.

The Bantam Division, Evan Snow of Gander Golf Club captured his third consecutive title with a score of 39 and a 7 stroke win over Noah Beliveau of Harmon Seaside Links who carded a 46 to take second place over Sam Budgen by 1 stroke. Ryan McNeil-Lamswood recorded a third Junior Division crown finishing the event with a score of 77 and an 8 stroke win over Jacob Alexander also of Harmon Seaside Links while Luke Lahey of Grand Falls Golf Club did not finish the event.

In the Juvenile Boys Division, Jack Pelley-MacHardy of Grand Falls Golf Club won his third consecutive crown recording a 88 and a 12 stroke win over second place Karsen Best of Bally Haly Country Club with Elliot Dicks of Humber River Golf Club placing third with a score of 105.

Paige Allen of Blomidon Golf Club captured the Bantam Girls Division crown with a score of 50 and a 5 stroke victory over Katie Colbourne of Blomidon while Kali Gill, also from Blomidon Golf Club placed third with a score of 69. Aiden Nelson took top spot in the Junior Girls Division with a score of 121. The next event on the Tely Junior Tour will be held at Grand Falls Golf Club in Grand Falls-Windspr on Monday, July 30th beginning at 10:00 A.M.
