1. Reason for Policy

The goal of the Committee shall be to create, develop and implement initiatives to promote golf in the resident and non-resident markets.

2. Policy Statement

The Chair will work with committee members and the Executive Director of Golf NL to plan meetings and support the Executive Director and Golf NL between meetings as directed. 

3. Scope

This policy applies to the Golf Newfoundland Labrador (Golf NL) Marketing Committee. 

4. Procedures

The Committee shall be engaged in the following key tasks: 

  • A. Investigate opportunities to increase revenues.
  • B. To create stronger cross marketing opportunities with Member Clubs between regions.
  • C. To ensure Golf NL has effective communications and marketing strategies and tools to
  • achieve its goals. 
  • D. Review and input into the Golf NL marketing and communications plans. 
  • E. Identify cross marketing opportunities with Key Stakeholders. 
  • F. Conduct annual evaluation of marketing and communications programs.
  • G. Provide input on communications issues that arise.
