Corner Brook, NL. Under the threat of rain and very windy conditions the Corner Brook Invitational manages to get a full 18 holes played as many first and second-place winners at The Harmon Invitational yesterday switched placings
In the Junior Boys division, Daniel Sharpe who recently won The Royal LePage Junior Provincials in Gander took first place over Philip Snow of Glendenning carding a 4 over par 76 with Philip in second place carding an 85. Noah Belliveau of Harmon took third place with 97.
In the Juvenile Boys Division, Keegan Pender nabbed first place for the second consecutive event with a score of 91, with Jonah Sharpe of Blomidon taking second place by one stroke lead over third place Drew Park of Humber River Golf Course.
Paige Allen and sister Rosie Allen of Blomidon Golf and Country Club switched roles today with Rosie taking top honors with a score of 87 and 7 stroke win over Paige. Kali Gill of Blomidon took third place with a 108.
The Bantam Boys Division saw Logan Skinner of Blomidon Golf Club win his first divisional title in his first appearance on the tour with an impressive score of 42 considering the strong wind conditions. He was followed in second place by Griffin Abbott of Humber River who shot 44 and Nathan Renouf of Blomidon shot 49 to take third place honors
The Bantam girls was led again today by Sarah Peyton of Humber River who captured another first-place win carding a 59 with Adelyn Kelly of Blomidon nabbing another second-place win with a score of 67. Reese Coles from Humber River carded a 79 in her first appearance on The Tely Junior Tour.
