Corner Brook, NL—With the largest field of 132 players including 19 ladies for a provincial golf championship, the Twin Rivers Championships Course at Terra Nova Resort & Golf Community will play host to the 2021 Royal LePage Provincial Amateur Championships from July 12th to 14th for the right to represent the province at Atlantic and National Championships.
The 54 hole stroke play tournament will see some of the province’s top amateur golfers converge on the Resort to compete in the championships to determine the provincial champion in four categories including: Amateur, Mid-Amateur, Senior and Super Senior. 2019 Mens Senior, Mid-Amateur and amateur Champion Chuck Conley from Bally Haly Country Club are back to defend his titles.
Kathleen Jean of Harmon Seaside Links will be returning to defend her 2019 titles in the Amateur, Mid-Amateur and Senior Division and with a field of 19 players including some new faces, this could prove to be an interesting competition.
Some players to keep an eye out for in the Mens Amateur include; Chuck Conley, Jason Stagg, C.J. Nolan and Matthew Bonnell. The first round gets underway beginning at 7:00 A.M. on Monday July 12th. For more information and review the draw visit:
