Labrador City, NL….With a field of 70 players from across the province that include 12 ladies, the Royal LePage Amateur Championships return to Tamarack Golf Club for the first time in 20 years. This year’s Royal LePage Provincial Amateur Championships will be contested from July 21st to 23rd with the practice round slated for July 20th.
The 54-holestroke play tournament will see some of the province’s top amateur golfers converge on Tamarack Golf Club in Labrador City to compete in the championships to determine the provincial champion in four Ladies and Mens Divisions including: Amateur, Mid-Amateur, Senior and Super Senior as well as the right to represent the province at the National Championships.
2022 Ladies Amateur, Mid-Amateur, Senior and Super Senior Champion Janet Mills from Bally Haly Country Club is back to defend her titles. Some players to keep an eye out for in the Mens’ Divisions include; George Chaulk, Ryan Holwell, Mitch Normore, Al Pike and Nolan Norman. In the Ladies’ division look out for Inez Thorne and Kanani Davis. The first round gets underway at 9:00 A.M. on Friday July 21st. For more information and review the draw visit:
