Grand Falls-Windsor, NL……Under ideal weather conditions, the fourth stop on the 2021 Tely Junior Tour took place at the Grand Falls Golf Club on Monday, July 26th. In the Bantam Girls Division, Mila Snook of Bally Haly Country Club captured her fourth divisional title in as many events, carding a 37 and a 3-stroke victory of sister, Freya Snook, Rosie Allen of Blomidon Golf Club took third place with a score of 50. Paige Allen continued her winning streak with her four consecutive Junior Division titles recording a score of 98 while fellow club member Brooklyn Stride finished in second.
In the Boys Juvenile Division, Noah Belliveau of Harmon Seaside Links won his first title of the season carding an 85 and a 2-stroke win over 2021 Provincial Bantam Champion, Sam Fisher of Clovelly while Daniel Sharpe of Blomidon took third with a score of 92. In the highly contested Boys Bantam Division, Owen Dunford of Bally Haly and Carter Dwyer of Grand Falls T1 with Dunford capturing the title through retrogression. Alex Elms of Humber River Golf Club and Benjamin Hutchings of Grand Falls T3 with a score of 48 with Elms taking third place through retrogression.
2021 Provincial Juvenile Champion, Jack MacHardy of Grand Falls Golf Club recorded a 78 to take the top spot in the Boys Junior Division with a 1 stroke win over Karsen Best of Bally Haly Country Club. First-time compet11itor Benjamin Oldford of Grand Falls Golf Club rounded out the top three with a score of 84 to take third place.
The next event on the Tely Junior Tour will be held on Tuesday, July 27th at the Gander Golf Club.
