Pender, Meade, Holwell and Gullipalli Take Crowns at Bally Haly Junior Invitational

St. John’s, NL… Keegan Pender, Lucan Meade, Ryan Holwell, and Sanjana Gullipalli won their respective division at the Bally Haly Junior Invitational as part of the 2021 Tely Tour. Keegan Pender, a member of GlenDenning Golf recorded a 38 including one birdie and an eagle to capture his first Bantam Division title by 4 strokes over Griffen Gallant of Bally Haly while Rowan Antle of Clovelly placed third with a score of 43.

Lucan Meade of Clovelly continued his strong performance in the Juvenile Division winning the invitational with a score of 81 and a ten-stroke win over Sam Fisher with Daniel Sharpe of Blomidon Golf Club carding a 92 in claiming third place.

In the Junior Boys Division, Ryan Holwell of Bally Haly Country Club recorded the low round of the day, a 2 over par 73 to win by 9 strokes over fellow club member Evan Mitchell. Karsen Best, also of Bally Haly Country Club recorded an87 to take third place.

In the Bantam Girls Division, Sanjana Gullipalli of Clovelly carded a 36 to take the top spot while Mila Snook of Bally Haly placed second with a score of 39 and her sister Freya placed third with a score of 41. The next event on the 2021 Tely Junior Tour will be held on Tuesday, August 17th at Clovelly in St. John’s with the Gatorade Junior Masters.
