Humber River Golf Club set to Host Royal LePage Provincial Junior Championships

Deer Lake, NL—Golf Newfoundland Labrador (Golf NL), in partnership with Humber River Golf Club in Deer Lake, title Sponsor Royal LePage and contributing partners, Pepsi, Wedgwood Insurance, and Taylormade is pleased to be hosting the 2021 Royal LePage Provincial Junior /Juvenile/Bantam Championships on the picturesque but challenging Humber River Course. The event will be taking place from July 5th to 7th. This year, twenty-seven young players including eight girls from across the province have registered for the competition.

The competition schedule will include a practice round on Sunday July 4^th, followed by the Provincial Skills Challenge Qualifier. The annual Players Meeting will be held via Zoom Conferencing that evening. The tournament will include three (3) days of stroke play competition to declare the overall champions in each eligible division. The championship trophy presentations and announcement of teams to represent the province at the National Championships will be held outside (weather permitting) on Wednesday, July 7th at approximately 3:00 P.M
