Efford & Holwell T62 At Canadian Junior Boys Championships

With rain delays, casual water and slower than normal greens, the first round of the 2021 Canadian Junior Boys National Championships was held on Monday August 9th at Sainte-Julie , Quebec Vallée du Richelieu (Club de golf). This 72-hole stroke play competition will run until Thursday August 12th and conclude with the crowning of the national Junior and Juvenile Boys Champions.

There are three players from the province competing at this year’s competition, all halting from Bally Haly Country Club in St.John’s. At the end of the first round Provincial Junior Champion Ethan Efford and runner up Ryan Holwell are T62 recording a 5 over par 77. Both players are just 5 strokes off a top 10 position. Karsen Best struggled on the initial day of competition recording a 91.

Play resumes Tuesday morning with Ethan Efford teeing off at 7:50 A.M., Ryan Holwell will start at 9:20 A.M. And Karsen Best is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. (all times local).
