Whiteway, NL…..With overcast skies, the potential of rain, and calm winds, Pitcher’s Pond Golf Course played hosted the sixth event on the 2021 Tely Junior Tour. In the Bantam Boys Division, Owen Dunford of Clovelly captured the title with a score of 41. Keegan Pender of Glendenning Golf placed second with a score of 54.
In the Boys Junior Division, Ryan Holwell of Bally Haly Country Club carded an 81 to capture his second consecutive divisional while John Park of Terra Nova Resort secured second place with a score of 97. Karsen Best of Bally Haly placed third with a score of 102.
In the Boys Juvenile Division, James Mitchell of Grande Meadows Golf Club earned his first divisional crown with a 10-stroke victory over Adam Currie of Terra Nova Resort with Ben Preston of Pitcher’s Pond rounding out the top three finishers with a score of 122. Sanjana Gullipalli of Clovelly captured her first Bantam Girls divisional title carding a 42.
The next scheduled events on the Tely Junior Tour will be held on Monday, August 2nd, at Glendenning Golf Course in St. John’s and on Tuesday, August 3rd, at The Wilds Golf Resort in Salmonier.
