July 13, 2023Mila is 12 years old and a grade 6 student at Brookside Intermediate. Her favorite subject in school is geography. When she is not playing golf, she plays soccer in the premier youth league with the U12 Feildians girls’ team and enjoys playing school and club basketball. Mila also likes to play piano and chess in her spare time. Outside of sports, she loves watching Adam Sandler movies. Mila recently won the Royal LePage Junior Provincial Championship at Gander Golf Club, which ran from July 3rd-5th.

Bally Haly Golf and Country Club

My dad and twin sister Freyaa
7. What’s the favorite course you ever played?
Pinehurst (Longleaf)
8. What course would you like to play anywhere in the world?
TPC Scottsdale … especially the stadium hole
9. Where and when did you start golfing?
Age 4. The Original Bally Haly Country Club
10. Can you (briefly) tell us about your most memorable golf experience?
Finishing 21st at the US Kids World Championship in Pinehurst in 2019. The final round was the first time I shot par in a tournament.
11. Can you (briefly) tell us about your funniest golf experience?
Watching my sister step on a rake like in the cartoons
12. What is your greatest golf accomplishment?
Winning the Women’s Club Championship at Bally Haly at age 10.
13. How do you like to relax?
Watching comedies and youtube videos

Happy Gilmore (anything by Adam Sandler)

My first golf set (3 clubs)

Not getting upset at myself / getting distracted easily

34 (2 under par) at a Tely Tour Event and 78 at Bally Haly
