McNeil-Lamswood Wins Harmon Seaside Links Junior Invitational

Stephenville, NL….After delaying the Harmon Invitational the previous day, weather conditions were less then ideal for the initial event to start the 2018 Tely Tour at Harmon Seaside Links in Stephenville. Unfortunately, conditions were not much better to start the season as the 18 hole divisions were shorten to 9 holes as water logging was becoming an issue.

Ryan McNeil-Lamswood took advantage of the home course to record a score of 36 and a 3 stroke victory over fellow club member Jacob Alexander in the Boys Junior Division. In the Boys Juvenile Division, Jack Pelley-MacHardy of Grand falls Golf Club and Karsen Best of Bally Haly tied for fiurst place with a score of 46 with Pelley winning the event through the retrogression process. Dylan Rideout of Harmon Seaside Links placed third with a score of 54.

Evan Snow of Gander Golf Club recorded a 42 to take top spot i the Bantam Boys Division with a 1 stroke win over Noah Beliveau of Harmon Seaside Links while Sam Bugden of Blomidon Golf Club finished in third spot with a score of 47

In the girls divisions, Aiden Nelson finished with a score of 60 for top position in the |Junior Girls while Paige Allen of Blomidon Golf Club won the Bantam Girls Division recording a 42 to claim first place over fellow club member Katie Colbourne who recording a 61. Rosie Allen carded a 64 to take third place.
