GNL Launches Provincial Golf Day

On Tuesday June 30th, Golf Newfoundland and Labardor in partnership with Bud Light will be hosting its first Annual Provincial Goilf Day. The main focus of this event is to celebrate the start of the 2009 golfing season throughout the provincial with a host of special events and activities taking place at participating golf courses.

The launch of the Golf Day will also signify the beginning of the third year of operation of the Tely Tour as well as the start of other Junior Golf Programs across the province. The lauch of this event is the third in a series of marketing activities for GNL. The first was the implementation of the Golf Report ijn cooperation with The Telegram which began on May 13th and will run until September 30th, and the launch of the Flying Foursome Golf Promotion that began on June 7th and will run until September 2rd.

One of the highlights of the enagurial Golf Day will be the hosting of a Media Day at Pippy Park Golf Course. GNL in partnership with Pippy Park and Bud Light will be inviting media from the region to participate in an informal day of golf including presentations by representatives of Pippy Park and Gnl, a reception and of course, golf at Admiral's Green.
