Golf Newfoundland Labrador (GNL), is pleased to announce that the Annual General Meeting of the organization will take place in the Haly Room at Bally Haly Country Clubin St. John's on Friday November 13th beginning at 6:30 P.M. The Annual Meeting will include the presentation of reports from the Directors, review of the audited financial statement for the past fiscal year, recommendations, amendments to the By-laws and the election of officers for 2016
In conjunction with the Annual Meeting, the organization will once again host a number of information/workshop sessions on Saturday November 14th, including a review of the Tely Tour by Bruce Watson, presentation by Christine Dengel of Golf Canada on the new national membership model, presentation by the National Golf Course Owners Association, Regional Director Dallas Desjardins and a review of the three year strategic plan.
The weekend will conclude with the Annual Hall of Fame and Awards Dinner which take place on Saturday November 14th to recognition the volunteers, staff and supporters who have given freely of their time and talents to improve and enhance the industry and sport of golf in the province over the past year. Annual awards will be presented to individuals in various categories and the evening will conclude with the induction of individuals to the Provincial Golf Hall of Fame.
